OBSERVATIONS:
This report follows a site visit to observe/test the earthwork for floor slab base. The writer observed
the placement and compaction of fill material was compacted and completed prior to arrival. The fill
material used was an on-site, F-M sand and gravel, little silt. A total of 2 field density tests were
performed using the ASTM D1556 Sand Cone method of testing. The earthwork observed/tested does conform
to minimum requirements of 95% compaction. These observations/testing results were reported to Nick
during this visit.
