In accordance with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan(MCP), 310 CMR 40.1403(6)(a), Action
Environmental Solutions Pllc., dba Action Environmental Boston, on behalf of North River Canal
LLC, the owner (Owner) of the above-referenced property and release site (the Site), is notifying
you of the completion of a MCP Phase I Initial Site Investigation and Tier II Classification at the
Site. On September 3,2014,North River Canal LLC filed a Tier 11 Classification Submittal with
the Department of Environmental Protect (MassDEP). Public notice of the Site Tier II
Classification will be published in the Salem Gazette on September 5, 2014.
A copy of the complete submittal can be viewed at or obtained from the Massachusetts Department
of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Waste Site Cleanup Northeastern Regional Office, 205B
Lowell Road, Wilmington, MA 01887, Tel.No. 978-694-3200.
