71 Washington St. (Salem Five Bank — Proposed Exterior Paint&Doors
SRA DECISION:
At their meeting on October 11,2006, the SRA voted to approve the DRB
recommendation with the stated conditions.
RECOMMENDATION:
At their meeting on October 3, 2006, the DRB recommended approval of the
exterior paint and doors with the condition that the trim color be 150% darker than
what was presented.
PROPOSAL:
The proposal includes the exterior painting of the trim at the Salem Five Bank
branch at 71 Washington Street and the replacement of the main doors. Both are
more detailed in the submittal (see file).

Per your request,Commodore Builders intends to contract with you perform minor
repairs and re-paint the exterior of 71 Washington St. The facades on Washington St. and Church
St. will be repaired and re-painted to match the existing. Any loose Stucco will be removed and
patched in along with any rotten wood. The patches will be primed and then the entire facade
will be re-painted to match existing. The window sash will be repaired where necessary and re-
painted as well. We will be submitting you paint samples today for your approval. Please let me
know if you have any questions.
