J December 11, 2013 L 299 Essex Street: Discussion and vote on proposed fagade renovation SRA Decision At its meeting on December 11, 2013, the SRA voted 5-0 to approve the December 4, 2013 DRB recommendation for a proposed fagade renovation at 299 Essex Street as shown on the presented plans dated 11/15/13. This approval does not constitute any approval for signage. Any future signage proposals will have to be brought before the DRB and SRA by a future tenant. DRB Recommendation At its meeting on December 4, 2013, the DRB unanimously approved the proposed fagade renovation shown in the enclosed plans (dated 11/15/13) without further comment or conditions. Staff Comment The renderings represent what a potential restaurant could look like in the space. The signage shown is not actually being proposed. The upper half of the fagade will be a two tone silver/gray metal. The lower half of the fagade will be black granite.
