DRB Recommendation At their meeting on May 27, 2009, the DRB voted to recommend approval of the proposed entry canopy at 209 Essex Street with the following conditons: - The letters shall be a maximum of 5.5 inches tall; and - The applicant inform the Board of the font type. Staff Comment The applicant has indicated the letters (for the address) will be 5 inches tall and the font is Times New Roman. Proposal The proposal is to erect a custom entry canopy to prevent rain from entering the tenant's door frame. The shed shaped canopy is 54.25" wide with a 30" projection. There is a 90" clearance from the top step. The awning color will be burgundy and the address 209R will appear in white.
