48 Central Street (A&J King Artisan Bakers): Discussion and n
proposed awning
DRB Recommendation
At its meeting July 25, 2012, the DRB recommended approval of the proposed
awning as submitted.
Proposal for July 25 DRB and August 8 SRA Meetings
The submission, dated July 5, includes photos and plans. The applicant has also
submitted a fabric sample which will be brought to the meeting.
The proposal is add three awnings over the A&J King storefront. The awning
material would match the awnings on the Derby Street fagade of the building and
would be 6'-6", 16'-9", and 16'-9" long. There are no ends on the awnings (even
though the photo rendering shows them).
Staff Comment for June 27 DRB Meeting
The awning material is the same as the existing awnings on the Derby Street
fagade. It is unclear if the awning height and slope match.
