Dear Steve:
Today while visiting my property at 3 Parallel St. , Salem,
MA, I discovered that you or your agents are erecting a fence
on my property as well as on part of Parallel Street itself .
As I said in my letter of April 24 , 1991 , (copy enclosed) I
do not want any fences or barriers erected on my property.
Therefore , I am requesting that you immediately remove the
fence from my property and restore my property to its
original condition.
In the event that the fence is not removed by November 21 ,
1991 , I will be forced to commence legal action to have my
rights protected. Furthermore, I am serving notice with this
letter that I will be charging you $100.00 per day rent for
the use of my property whether for the storage of cars ,
boats , or fences . This rental charge shall commence November
21 , 1991 , and will continue until you have removed your
possessions completely and restored my property to its
original condition.

Dear Julie :
Last Saturday when Mr. Valais and three other commissioners
made a site visit to view the fence which the Coady' s are
erecting, I told everyone present that I do not want any
fences or barriers on my property. Mr. Valais said that
they would discuss the fence at the December 12th meeting.
Would you please contact me with the time and location of the
meeting?
After viewing the fence we also looked at the culvert which
drains the pond and carries the excess water under the
railroad tracks . Mr. Valais said he would contact the Boston
& Maine RR to have them clear their pipes . Would you also
keep us informed as to what action is taken about this?

Coady' s fence , we have no problem with it as long as the
fence is erected as was shown that night by Andrew Coady on
the plot plan. Please note that the last portion of the
fence near the Parallel St. railroad underpass appears to be
installed on City of Salem' s property.
In our letter of 11/19/91 we asked if you would keep us
informed as to what, if any action, has taken place regarding
getting the culverts cleared out from the debris left by the
Boston & Maine RR. Would you kindly update us on this matter
also?
