We are not in the business to penalize people by ticketing them. The tickets are merely a tool we use to obtain compliance with codes and or City Ordinances . There seems to be some confusion on when you received the first letter. Therefore I am sending you back your check and I will let collectors know we have cancelled the ticket. I am going on the assumption that you are not going to conduct retail sales from your home. Compliance with zoning is all we are trying to achieve . We received a valid complaint and took action on it. Good luck in your future endeavours. Sincerely, ThoSt Pierre Building Commissioner Duector of Inspectional Services cc.
