Dear Ms. Stokes,
I am in receipt of your letter and certainly and sympathize with your difficulties. We are not in the business to
penalize people by ticketing them. The tickets are merely a tool we use to obtain compliance with codes and or
City Ordinances . There seems to be some confusion on when you received the first letter. Therefore I am
sending you back your check and I will let collectors know we have cancelled the ticket. I am going on the
assumption that you are not going to conduct retail sales from your home. Compliance with zoning is all we are
trying to achieve . We received a valid complaint and took action on it. Good luck in your future endeavours.
Sincerely,
ThoSt Pierre

re: Zoning violation.
Dear Owner,
This Department has received a complaint regarding your business, Tricia's Trinkets, being run
from your home. Your property is located in a residential zone and a retail business use is not
allowed. When you advertise products and offer them for sale at your home ,this constitutes a
zoning violation .Please contact me upon receipt of this letter to discuss this matter.
