Dear Ms. Curran:
On behalf of the Petitioner, High Rock Bridge Street, LLC, I hereby request
allowance to extend the above referenced variances, which were granted by the Board
in a Decision date-stamped June 2, 2010, automatically extended pursuant to the
Permit Extension Acts of 2010 and 2012 through May 18, 2015, and further extended by
the Board through November 18, 2015 and then through May 18, 2016, for an additional
period of six (6) months from the effective date of that extension.
The Petitioner intends to go forward with the project as permitted by the Board in
this matter.
We would, therefore, respectfully request that this Board grant an extension
through November 18, 2016.

allow the construction of a 2-4 story professional office building with retail and municipal space on the
property (Nlap 15 Lot 305).
The Salem Zoning Board of Appeals met on Wednesday,April 20, 2016 to discuss vour request for
the approval of a six (6) month extension to exercise rights granted by the granted by tbe.june 2,
2010 Board Decision, as previously extended by request of the applicant as well as the Permit
Extension Acts of 2010 and 2012, that approved Variances from budding height (feet), buffer zone
width, and number of parking spaces to allow the construction of a 2-4 story professional office
building with retail and Municipal space on the property.
The original Decision of June 2, 2010 qualified under the Nfassachusetts Permit Extension Acts of
1010 and 2012, and was automatically extended to May 18, 2015.
On February 25, 2015 a letter was submitted by Attorney Correnti on behalf of High Rock LLC
requesting a second six (6) month extension to commence on Af a); 18, 2015 and expire on
November 18, 2015.
On November 6, 2015, a letter was submitted b'y Attorney Correnti on behalf of High Rock Bridge
Street, LLC, requesting a six (6) month extension to commence on November 18, 2015 and expire
on May 18, 2016. The Zoning Board of Appeals determined that good cause was shown to grant an
extension. The Board granted an extension through 1\4aY 18, 2016.

On March 31, 2016, a letter was submitted by- Attorney Correnti on behalf of High Rock Bridge
Street, I.LC, requesting a six (6) month extension to commence on \Mae 18. 2016 and exoire on
November 18. 2016. Mr. Correnti explained that the reason for the extension is due to prevent the
relief from lapsing while an alternative project is being permitred.
The "Zoning Board of Appeals determined that good cause was shown to grant an extension and
voted five (3) in favor (Nfs. Curran, Mr. Copelas, Mr. Duff,' Mr. Watkins and Mr. Tsitsinos) and
none (0) opposed, to grant the approval of the six (6)-month extension request to exercise the rights
granted by the June 2, 2010 Board Decision as extended through November 18, 2010. This
determination shall become part of the record for this project.
