This would make the lot at 46 School Street non conforming because it would not meet lot size for R 2 zone. The existing lot has a long thin shape with steep topography. This makes the space at the back of 46 School st lot currently unusable and difficult to maintain. If combined with space from 48 it would make a new rectangle shaped lot with embankment dwelling thereby making it usable and an improvement to the neighborhood.
