Robert Gauthier Zoning Enforcement Officer One Salem Green Salem, Ma . , 01970 Dear Mr . Gauthier , We are writing to you to register a complaint regarding a zoning violation that is present at 47-49 Leach, Street . There are currently eleven ( 11 ) people residing in a two family dwelling at the above address . Five males on the first floor , six females on the second and they moved into our neigh- borhood the first week in September . There hasn ! t b.e.en .a quiet , tranquil evening since! What with doors slamming , loud talking , stereos and general disquiet , many times into the wee hours of the morning , we ' ve had many sleepless nights . As a result , many calls to the police have been made for their assistance . There were never many parking spaces available , but now there are none . As homeowners and taxpayers that are being forced to live amongst a college dormitory we feel that this violation is no longer tolerable . We are requesting that you , as zoning enforce- ment officer , investigate our complaints and rectify the situa- tion . Should you have any additional questions please feel free to contact us . Your immediate attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated . John A. Barbaro Roger H. LaMontagne 53 Leach Street 58 Leach Street 744-0611 744-8838 Edward P .
