I am now married with two children and need more space to be comfortable in our home. What this addition would be for us is a much needed bedroom and a new living room. The current house is technically considered a three bedroom but, the third bedroom has a three foot tall closet and is too small for even a twin sized bed and a dresser. This addition would allow us to convert what is now a small living room into a dining room; as we currently only have space for a small table in a dining nook. It is not uncommon for buildings in our neighborhood to be as close as or closer than what we are proposing. Our next door neighbor's garage almost touches the left side of our house therefore, our only option for expansion is where we propose. My request for a variance will allow my family to remain in the neighborhood that we have grown to love. Thank you for your time in considering this request.
