At this time our involvement with this property has been to investigate an illegal use of the basement level for habitable space. During the course of this investigation, it was determined that there was in fact a bedroom set up within this space in violation of the Building Code. This was ordered removed, and at this time I do believe that this order was complied with, I am awaiting the re-inspection of this space. There also was an issue with regards to tenant access to the utilities in the basement. Normally, during these 'investigation we look for other violations, and if more than a few are observed we then call for a required 106 inspection of the entire premises, utilizing an inspection team representing all inspectional departments. As there were no other glaring violations on this property that has not been done at this time. I have forwarded your request to the Health Department, and you should have a response from them as well. If this office can be of further assistance please feel free to give us a call.
