In regards to: Variance for a second curb cut at 7 English St.
Chairwomen Cohen
City of Salem
Board of Appeal
Dear Chairwomen Cohen:
I am a direct abutter of 7 English St. Due to unforeseen childcare problems I cannot
attend the appeals meeting tonight.
I am opposed to the variance in question and the placement of a driveway between the
two properties.
I am raising two small children in my house and I feel a curb cut/driveway would impede
on their safety. I myself have only a small yard, which my children play in everyday.
This curb cut/driveway would pose more of a safety risk with cars entering, exiting and
any emissions. The property in question already has a right of way for parking in the back
of the property. Please read this letter into public record as this issue is very important to
myself and my family
Respectfully yours,
Amy Conrad
