One Salem Green Salem, Massachusetts 01970 Chairman Grealish, This regards the request for variance from use and parking at 59-61 Dunlap Street. This particular neighborhood is already densely populated. On and off street parking is at a premium for most residents of the area. This is evidenced by the fact that our driveway is frequently partially blocked by parked cars or used by others for a variety of temporary parking purposes. During the winter months, parking on Dunlap Street is adversely affected by parked cars remaining on the street during snow emergencies, resulting in the plowed area straying far from the curb. The narrow zig-zag which results makes driving and entry/exit from our and other driveways on the street both difficult and dangerous. Given these factors, and considering that others would seek to increase the number of units on their property [#67 Dunlap Street] if this be approved, we can only conclude that results of the proposed change would have lasting detrimental effects upon us and our neighbors. r� n incerely, r /oicz Edward T.
