Re : 6 Lathrop Street
Dear Owners,
This is the third letter I have written regarding the unsafe condition (porches) at your rental
property. It has been in an unsafe condition for three months which is un-acceptable. You are
directed to secure a Building Permit and begin work immediately. Failure to begin work within
seven days of this notice will result in a complaint being filed in District Court. The lack of a
second means of egress may also result in the revocation of the Occupancy Permit for this unit.
If you have any questions ,contact me immediately.

Dear Owners,
This Department has received and confirmed a complaint about the rear porches at 6 Lathrop

licensed Construction Supervisor must secure the building permit. If you wish to Appeal this
order, your Appeal is to the Board of Buildings, Regulations and Standards in Boston. If you
have any questions, please contact me directly.
Sincerely,

Re:6 Lathrop Street
Dear Owners,
This is a follow up to my letter issued July IP of this year, regarding the damaged and unsafe
rear porches. As I stated in the previous letter, the porches need to replaced immediately. I
received a message that you were waiting for Insurance from your abutter's property to begin
repairs. This is not acceptable that a required means of egress is not available to your tenants.
You should have made a claim to your own Insurance company to repair your rental property. It
is your Insurance Companies'job to repair your building and pursue the claim against the other
property owner. As stated previously, a building permit must be secured and work begun
immediately. Failure to address this issue will result in Municipal tickets and further enforcement
actions. If you wish to speak with me directly, I am in the office from 8:00 to 10:00 every
morning
