Dear Salem Zoning Board,
This letter is a follow-up to my application for a lot subdivision at the comer of Barnes Rd.and Highland
Ave.,submitted on December 27 h 2001. After meeting with approximately twenty of the abutters a few
days prior to the January Zoning Board meeting,several concems were brought to my attention.I felt
their concerns merited requesting a one month continuance while I attempted to address them.
At this time I do not feel I will be able to resolve enough of the issues raised to proceed with the proposal
as submitted. Therefore,I would like to withdraw it without prejudice at this time.Thank you for your
time and consideration in this matter.Every person I spoke with at Salem City Hall was very helpful and a
genuine pleasure to deal with.
