On the August 19, 2016 meeting, the petitioner requested to,withdraw the petition without prejudice. When I arrived at the property,three work trucks were present and roofers were finishing up the installation of a new roof.I attempted to speak with roofers and they either did not want to speak with me or a language barrier was present.Not being able to determine who they worked for,I snapped a photo of the vans and later asked Salem P.D to identify the owners for me.Attached,you will find a document stating the owner of two of the vans that were at the site.Both companies come back to either Turnpike Contracting or another company using their same P.O Box. Based on this information,I believe this job was done without permits by either Olympic Roofing or Turnpike Contracting.I am aware that Mr.Vasiliades's license is under suspension and I believe this why no permit was pulled for this job. (The city of Salem had spoken to Matt about the permit but never notified me.)I had a couple of days off that week and forgot about the roof permit until the letter came for George. I attempted to speak with roofers and they either did not want to speak with me or a language barrier was present.Not being able to determine who they worked for, I snapped a photo of the vans and later asked Salem P.D to identify the owners for me. Attached,you will find a document stating the owner of two of the vans that were at the site. Both companies come back to either Turnpike Contracting or another company using their same P.O Box. Based on this information, I believe this job was done without permits by either Olympic Roofing or Turnpike Contracting. I am aware that Mr.Vasiliades's license is under suspension and I believe this why no permit was pulled for this job. If more information is needed,please let me know.
