Please be informed that you are violating the Building Code
in regards to your recently installed fire escape.
You are directed to remove it immediately and to contact this
office when you have done so.
Please contact this office regarding design and plans for the
proper construction of any future fire escape stairways.

We would like you to check on the status of the house ?Eti;.{1r
at 405 Lafayette st . . CITY OF
It is a two family house in this R 1 neighborhood.
We feel it is being used as a three family and could someday
be offered for sale as such.
It also creates a parking problem as there is always one or
two cars parked on the sidewalk. This makes walking by difficult .
While the cars are on the sidewalk, day and night, they never
seem to be ticketed.
The house at 412 Lafayette st. is also a two family. The owner' s
request to convert to a three family was turned down. It appears
an illegal third apartment was finished and all of it rented to
students with out the owner living there.
This also adds cars which are parked all over the front lawn
degrading the neighborhood.
We appreciate your attention in this matter.
