You have also failed to arrange for an inspection from the Salem Health Department. Additionally, the City has no record of Building occupancy permits or inspections from the renovations done a few years ago. You are directed to cease the use of the property as short term rentals and due to the Building Code violations, directed to cease the occupancy of this building for any purpose until inspections' and certificates of Fitness and Occupancy are obtained. The Building Code violations and the Short Term Rental Violations both have initial fines of$50 per day, second violation$150 per day and subsequent violations $300 per day. . This is a serious matter and you are directed to contact both my Department and the Health Department upon receipt of this notice.
