DONALDSON, AFTER MR. O ' BRIEN TAI;KED
Dear Mr. O'Brien: WITH HIM.
At a meeting of the Directors of the Osgood Park Neighborhood Association
on September 8, 1971, it was voted to inform you and to request that you, take
the appropiate action to prevent the practice of housing roomers and/or
boarders at the premises numbered 359 Lafayette St. , Salem, Mass. The
Association has been informed that these are presently five roomers and/or
boarders upon said premises in addition to a tenant residing;on the third floor
and the agent of the owners living on,the first floor.
The owners of the premises, we are informed, are Mr. and Mrs. James W.
Goggin and, we are also informed their resident agent is Mrs. Patricia Goggin.
Since this property is located in an R-1 district, these copditionsl
would clearly be in violation of the applicable zoning ordinance. We hope
and trust that you will take appropriate action forthwith.
Very Truly Yours,
E. Ferris
President, Osgood Park
