The bushes grow out over the sidewalk obstructing pedestrians. Every year this department has to notify the two owners involved. It is your responsibility to maintain your property. This department does not have the manpower to chase chronic problems like this every year. I suggest you get together with the owner of 357 Lafayette Street to come up with a permanent solution to the hedge problem. Failure to resolve this matter within 10 upon receipt of this letter will result in daily fines and a hearing in Salem District Court.
