This department has received numerous complaints about the use on your above-
mentioned property.
The lot now contains 3 large storage containers an old crane and other industrial
equipment.
Your lot is located in a B4/R2 zone. Industrial uses are not permitted in this area.
Section 5-2 Salem Zoning,
You are directed to cease all these activities within 30 days upon receipt of this notice.
If you wish to appeal this order, you are directed to appeal to the Salem Zoning Board
within 30 days.
Failure to comply with this order will result in Municipal Code Tickets and a complaint
being filed in Salem District Court.

This department has received complaints regarding excavation at the
above referenced property for the alleged purpose of creating a parking
lot. This property is located in a residential two family district (R-2)
and said use is a violation of the City of Salem Zoning Ordinance and would
require a Variance from the City of Salem Zoning Board of Appeal
You are hereby ordered to Cease and Desist excavation immediately and
to contact this department within seven (7) days of receipt of this notice.
Failure to respond will result in this office taking the appropriation
legal action.
