To begin with.,, there are a minimum of four apartments in this building. It is zoned as a two family. At present this building is managed as an over- crowded rooming house for transients and degenerates. This area is becoming an ever more valuable historic district of national significance. I would like to see this property returned to its appropriat use. As a member of Historic Salem, Inc, # I would like to add that this presently abused building could be a very fine historical asset to the city of Salem if used for its original intent.
