Building Department records, do not indicate that this work was Permited or Inspected. If the work did not have a permit, then you are in violation of the Massachusetts Building Code: 780 CMR: 105.1 Required. It shall be unlawful to construct, reconstruct, alter, repair, remove or demolish a building or structure; or to install or alter any equipment for which provision is made or the installation of which is regulated by this code without first filing a written application with the building official and obtaining the required permit. If you have documentation to show that 4T" Generation Builders had obtained an appropriate Building Permit,then please make a copy available to the City of Salem Building Department. If no documentation can be found,then you will need to come to the Building Department and begin the application process. Failure to resolve the issues cited above will be construed as non-compliance and may result in the issue of municipal tickets and fines as well as further enforcement actions.
