This Department has received and investigated complaints regarding a Landscaping business being run
from your property. The Garage area and adjacent yard is being used by Landcare Inc. as a
Commercial Yard. Trucks and personnel are starting equipment as early as 5:30 A.M This is a violation
of Salem Ordinance22-.2 (4) The cemetery is located in a R-1 Zone. The Cemetery itself is a
Grandfathered,Pre-existing use. Business uses are not allowed in a Residential Zoneas defined in the
salem Zoning Ordiance ,Section 5-2.
Therefore you are directed to cease and decist the Commercial use of the Garage and adjacent yard. If
you feel you are aggrieved by this order, your appeal is to the Salem Zoning Board of Appeals.

conducted and the following violations were found:
1. Unregistered, uninsured vehicle must be removed.
2. Garage must be cleaned of debris. (Fire hazard)
3. Remove all debris from yard. (Tires & brush)
Please notify this department upon receipt of this letter as to your
course of action to rectify these violations. Failure to do so will result in
legal action being taken against you.
