This Department has received and investigated complaints regarding a Landscaping
business being run from your property. The Garage area and adjacent yard is being used
by Landcare Inc. as a Commercial Yard. Trucks and personnel are starting equipment as
early as 5:30 A.M This is a violation of Salem Ordinance22-.2 (4) The cemetery is
located in a R-1 Zone. The Cemetery itself is a Grandfathered,Pre-existing use. Business
uses are not allowed in a Residential Zone as defined in the salem Zoning Ordinance
,Section 5-2.
Therefore you are directed to cease and desist the Commercial use of the Garage and
adjacent yard. If you feel you are aggrieved by this order, your appeal is to the Salem
Zoning Board of Appeals.
