Deke' s .
You have provided my clients with a list of repairs and
improvements that need to be done prior to your issuing
approval . Since the building is owned by a different party
other than the previous owner and is in the process of being
sold, my client respectfully request additional time in order to
make the repairs and improvements required. They request an
extension through November 14, 1998 . By way of this letter and
their signatures, they are committed to you to undertake the
improvements with or without the landlord.

On August 19, 1998 , I conducted an inspection of your
business located at 5 Gedney Street and found the
following violations ;
1 . No illuminated exit signs and emergency lighting over
existing doors .
2 . Exiting exit doors need to be replaced with proper
panic hardware.
3 . Remove air conditioning units from above exit doors .
4 . Install fire alarm system per 780 CMR 917 . 0 .
5 . Install emergency lighting in restrooms and basement .
You shall comply with this order within thirty (30 )
days of receipt of this letter .
