Violations Based upon a tenant complaint,an inspection was conducted in accordance with Article II of the State Sanitary Code, 105 CMR 410.000. Upon inspection,the following were noted: 3 days .150 1. Tenant had complaint of the hot water not working in the shower and tub. At the time of inspection, it was noted that the hot water in the tub reached 115 degrees F, then dropped after less than one minute to below 80 degrees F. Additionally the hot water in the bathroom sink reached 116 degrees F and maintained that temperature. Hot water must be provided for every bathtub and shower at no less than 110 degrees F and no higher than 120 degrees F. Conduct whatever repairs or adjustments are necessary so that these temperature requirements can be maintained in the tub/shower. Owner to correct this violation within 3 days. 24-48 hours .550 2. Tenant had complaint of some cockroach activity. At the time of inspection, a dead cockroach was observed in the hallway outside the bathroom. Owner to hire services of licensed pest control operators to inspect and treat this and any contiguous units for cockroaches; treatments must continue until problem is abated. Please forward invoices for service to the Board of Health for our records. Owner to correct this violation within 24-48 hours.
