Description of Work Proposed:
• Repair front fence,parallel to Chestnut Street
o The focus of the proposed project will be to address the five ornate posts of the fence, and the work
will be completed in-house.
o The general treatment plan of the proposed project will include the following: cleaning the fence,
replacing rotted elements of the posts(mostly concentrated along the post bottoms), reattaching an
urn that was removed a couple of years ago for safekeeping, and painting the fence.
o The paint color and molding profiles will match existing.
Non-applicable due to being in-kind paintin��and rerairs.
*NOTE:Historic materials and details must be retained and repaired except where material is not salvageable and
must be replaced. If replacement is necessary, new elements must replicate existing details, dimensions and
materials. Should any chanzes to materials, desixn or outward appearance be determined necessary,Applicant
must submit a new application for review.
Upon completion of the above work,please notify Historical Commission staff as final sign-off is
required to document compliance with this Certificate and_approved plans.
