Dear Mr. Patrisso,
I have considered your request for a dumpster permit . At this time I am rejecting your permit to have a 30 yard
roll off on the side of the building. I do not believe the City Council envisioned 30 yard roll offs as dumpsters
when they crafted the dumpster ordinance. Additionally, you are bringing materials from other locations to this
dumpster. This becomes an extension of your business. The property owners have been notified on numerous
occasions that the underlying zoning of this parcel is residential. The existing uses are Grandfathered ,but any
additional use or expansion would need a Special Permit from the zoning Board of Appeals.
If you feel you are aggrieved by my zoning interpretation,your appeal is to the Salem Zoning Board of
Appeals.

repo yard . As you are aware, due to the non-conforming nature of this property, any expansion of use needs a
Special Permit from the Zoning Board of Appeals . You are directed to stop the use of the property for
