WAIVER OF THE DEMOLITION DELAY ORDINANCE
It is hereby certified that the Salem Historical Commission has waived the Demolition Delay Ordinance
for the proposed demolition as described below, as per the requirements set forth in the Historic District's
Act (M.G.L. Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance.

Description of Demolition Work Proposed:
Demolish buildings older than 50 years.
Per the Demolition Delay Ordinance, the Commission made the following findings:
1) The Commission voted unanimously to find the buildings not historically significant.
Waiver is conditional upon the following provisions:
• Submission of three-quarter view photographs of all elevations of existing buildings;
• Submission of interior photographs for both buildings;
• Submission of all building dimensions; and
• All above items to be submitted to Commission before a demolition permit is issued.
NOTE: A demolition permit must be applied for within 12 months of the issuance of this waiver. If
a demolition permit application is not submitted, this waiver expires and a new application to waive
the demolition delay must be submitted to the Historical Commission.

As record owner of the property at 33-37 Osborne Street, Salem, Massachusetts, E. McGrath,
Inc., a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
hereby waives its right to appear before the Historical Commission and grants permission to Mr.
Justin Cook or his nominees, Attorneys Ryan J. Carlucci and William F. Quinn and their firm Tinti
& Navins, P.C. to request to waive the Demolition Delay Ordinance for the purpose of demolishing
all existing structures on the site, and to construct a new 2-story structure for use as a car-
collectors’ car storage facility.
