Please see responses below:
1. Was there any piping, sumps, spill buckets or other UST equipment in the ground/on site
near the tanks?
a. No UST piping or other UST-associated infrastructure were observed during the tank
removals. Some plastic piping that was encountered was former electrical conduit, they
were cut and set aside by the contractor.
2. Were there any samples taken around the former piping, dispensers or possible UST
equipment mentioned above?
a. No other UST equipment was observed, but samples were collected in a grid pattern
around the tank excavation limits for PID screening and laboratory analysis, as shown on
Figure 2 in the report.
3. Since these were unregistered tanks and were not in our database,we require UST-1 and
UST-6 Forms to be filled out. Please complete these forms and return them to us. I have attached
them to this email for convenience.
a. The completed forms are attached.
