At that time the following items were still outstanding: Dwelling Unit: - In both bedrooms, there are missing ceiling mounted smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. The City of Salem Fire Department has been notified. Exterior: - The main entryway door for Building 9 has been repaired but damaged again, preventing the door from closing properly. Remaining violations are ordered to be corrected within seven (7) days of receipt of this report. Failure to bring the remaining violations into compliance within this time will result in the inspector filing a complaint against the property owner in the Northeast Housing Court. Please correct the outstanding violations and contact this office to schedule a final re-inspection of this apartment. Repair the door frame so it is intact and free of defects, and allows the door to open and close with ease.
