OWNER'S CONSENT FOR U'_PT. OF PLANNING &
ZONING APPLICATION COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
This Consent (the "Consent"), dated as of 90am*4r , 2025 is given by Cheryl A.
Vervates, as Trustee of the Vervates Realty Trust u/d/t dated September 12, 1997 (the "Owner"),
in connection with an application by Davie Lynn Slocum and Logan Wynn Owle of 26 Lafayette
Street,Marblehead, Massachusetts (the"Buyers," and collectively with the Owner,the"Parties"),
to construct a single-family dwelling at 15 Wall Street, Salem, Massachusetts 01915 (the "Prop-
erty")which is heretofore being brought before the Salem Zoning Board of Appeals(the"ZBA").
WHEREAS,the Owner is the lawful owner of the Property by quitclaim deed dated September
19, 1997 and recorded in the Essex South Registry of Deeds in Book 14318, Page 119; and
WHEREAS,the Parties entered into a certain Purchase and Sale Agreement dated November
28,2025 (the "P&S," filed herewith) wherein Buyer agreed to purchase the Property from Owner
for valuable consideration, the closing of which to occur on March 23, 2026; and
WHEREAS, Section 49 of"Rider A" of the P&S states that the transaction is contingent upon
Buyers' obtaining any required zoning variance(s) and municipal approval for the construction of
a single-family home prior to said closing date;
NOW,THEREFORE,the Owner hereby agrees and consents to the following:
1. Recitals; Definitions. The foregoing recitals, including all terms defined therein, are incor-
porated herein and made a part hereof.
2. Consent to Request Zoning Relief. The Owner hereby consents to any request for zoning
relief by the Buyers pursuant to Section 40A of the Massachusetts General Laws for the
purpose of constructing a single-family home located at the Property.
3. Consent for Representation before ZBA. The Owner hereby consents to allow the Buyers
or their duly authorized representatives to request such relief, as needed, before the ZBA.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned has caused this Consent to be duly executed by its
duly authorized representatives, all as of the day and year first above written.
