Michael Sullivan Decision: At a regular meeting of the Design Review Board (DRB), upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously voted to recommend approval of the proposed window decal as designed and conditioned herein. Referenced Plans and Documents 1. Sign Application, prepared by Heather Maitland, submitted on 9/8/2020. 2. Staff Comments dated 9/16/20. Condition of Approval 1. Consistency with Design/Plans: Should the applicant determine that the approved sign design may not be completed as detailed in the plans referenced herein and the following conditions, he/she/they shall return to the DRB to review proposed modifications prior to making any changes in the field. 2. Removal of Horizontal Line: To increase readability, the Board recommends that one of the horizontal lines between the text reading ‘Maitland’ and ‘Financial Group’ be removed. Findings 1. The DRB reviewed the sign proposal and found that the proposed signage is consistent with the standards and guidelines in the SRA Sign Manual and the City of Salem Sign Ordinance. 2. The proposal is modest with members appreciating its simplicity in design.
