Quinn 15 Derby Square Salem, MA 01970 RE: Forrester St. , Salem Dear Mr. Quinn: You are correct in that I have personally reviewed the existing conditions at 36 Forrester Street several times with the City Electrician; Health Department and Mr. Mansur. 1. June 11th received attached report of the Health Department. 2. June 11th personally inspected the exterior porches and interior stairways with Mr. Dan Mansur. June 11th contacted Ms. Stephanie Mathews by phone in regard to existing conditions-tat said property. She in no un- certain terms told me that money was not available to rectify the existing conditions and would do so at their own convenience. 3. June 13th a directive was sent to M & M Realty with attached copies of paragraphs from Mass. Building Code. 4. June 16th complaints from tenants received, still no action taken by M & M Realty. Re-inspected porches and interior stairway, and electrical problems with Mr. Condon, City Electrician. 5. June 17th inspected public areas, basement and apartments with Mr. Michael Dennehy, Wiring Inspector, as per attached letter. 6. June 26th photos taken showing railing and porches in deteriorating condition. 7. July 1st after numerous complaints by Mrs. Judy McCole and Mrs. O'Brien, and complete ignorance of all our letters by M & M Realty, I assigned two men to repair the most critical areas, per section 123.1 of the Mass. Building Code, for which I intend to charge M & M Realty. 8. July 7th - railing which had been replaced was again torn off.
