During this time, the property was operated as a three family residence. I purchased the property from Peter and Kathy Sanborn who also maintained it as a three family residence. It is my understanding that I paid taxes on the property as a three family house, and I think that the tax records should reflect this status. During the time that I owned the house, I commissioned a study from Historic Salem of the history of the house.
