Beginning at the southeasterly corner of the granted premises at
F. land of the Salem Realty Company, and thence running

NORTHERLY by land of said Company, eighty-four and 49/100
(84 .49) feet to a point in said boundary
line opposite the face of the brick wall form-
ing the northerly side of said building;
thence running
WESTERLY by the face of the northerly wall of said
building thirty-nine and 5/100 (39.05) feet
to a point four (4) inches westerly of said
building; thence turning an obtuse angle and
running
SOUTHWESTERLY in a straight line parallel to and four (4)
inches from the face of the brick wall of

sixteen (16) foot passageway; thence running

Together with an open right of way for all purposes in said

sixteen (16) foot passageway adjoining the granted premises on
the west, which right of way is more particularly described
in deed from Richard and Ellen U. Harrington to Katherine E.
Keefe, dated June 19, 1914 , recorded with said Deeds, Book 2266,
Page 215; and also a right of way for all purposes over land now
or formerly of Katherine E. Keefe as the same is now and has
been for many years open and travelled northerly from said
sixteen (16) foot passageway along the westerly side of the
granted premises and the northerly side of the granted premises
between the granted premises and the garage northerly of the
same, so far as the same now are and have been open and `
convenient for travel.
Granting also. the right to maintain and use the cellar stairs
and shelter for the same on the northerly side of said building
as they now are and have existed for years.
Excepting from the above conveyance, so much as may have been
taken by the City of Salem for the widening of Essex Street -
see Book 2638 , Page 236.
Reserving to the Salem Realty Co. , its successors or assigns,
the right to use the existing brick wall of its present thickness
and height, which wall marks the Easterly boundary of the granted
premises, for the following uses and purposes : For lateral
support of the adjoining building of the Salem Realty Cc; to
enter said wall, not exceeding. its present height and thickness
for any purpose allowed by the building laws of the City of Salem
and to rebuild or repair said wall to its present height and
thickness at the Salem Realty Company' s expense in the event
that said wall is destroyed or damaged by fire or otherwise.
Being the same premises conveyed to me by deed of Salem
Realty Company b;Y deed dated January 19, 1953, recorded with
Essex South District Registry of Deeds, Book 3954 , Page 26 .
Said premises are conveyed subject to a mortgage to the Salem Savings
Bank dated January 19, 1953 recorded with said Registry of Deeds
Book 3954, Page 267 with a principal outstanding balance of $9,917 .00.
