As you are aware, your property at-2-Fl-int---Street � is considered an outstanding issue for the installation of a deck without approval The most recent status on the project was you were notified of the violation on April 2 , 3 & August 13, 1991 The Salem Historical Commission respectfully requests an update on the status of this issue on or before November 6 , 1991 . At the Commission' s regular meeting of November 6 , 1991, a list of homeowners who are unresponsive or do not plan to resolve the outstanding issue promptly will be compiled and forwarded to the City Solicitor' s Office for legal enforcement. There is a very real danger to the safety of the public as well as the danger that exists should you require the services of the Fire Department and if one of their firemen crashed through the -- rotted roof. According to our records, there is no approved Certificate for either Appropriateness, Hardship or Non-Applicability. At this time, the Commission respectfully requests that, within 30 days, you either: - Remove the landscaping timbers; - Submit a copy of an approved Certificate; - Submit a formal application for the Commission to review the work completed; or - Provide documentation that the landscaping timbers were installed prior to the creation of the historic district.
