Zoning Enforcement: Officer (Acting)
One Salem Green

Dear Mr, Mansur,
I am in receipt of your letter of March 21, 1980 relative to alleged
zoning violations for property located at 7 Fairview Avenue, Salem.
We do not and have not been conducting a business at this address,
nor do we have any plans to conduct any business in the future. We do
have a small area in the house where I do my personal tax returns and
answer other personal correspondence.
The commercial vehicle that I drive home at noon and other times of
the day and which I have used to commute to and from work is no longer
kept overnight at 7 Fairview Avenue. It will still be used, however,
during the day for my transportation to and from my home.
Relative to the vehicle parked on the lawn, I do not find any place
in the Zoning Laws that states that I must have a paved parking space to
park a vehicle on but I no longer am parking the vehicle on the lawn so
the point is, I guess irrelevant-. In the fall, if the vehicle is to be
parked on the lawn I will consider surfacing the area.
Sincerely yours,
r

Dear Mr. Keating;
I sent inspector Peter Grady out to look at the situation at the above
referenced property.
Enclosed is a copy of the Zoning Ordinance regarding trailors. It is my deter-
mination that the trailor in question is in conformity with this ordinance.
Thank you for your concern in this matter and feel free to contact this office
should the situation change.
Very truly yours,
