1. To declare said strip of land as excess public property
2. To authorize the Mayor to sell said land
3. To set a minimum purchase price of twenty-eight ($28.00) dollars

CITY OF SALEM, a municipal corporation duly established under
the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and having its
usual place of business at Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts, acting
by and throu�j!, its Mayor, Jean A. Levesque, hereto duly authorized
by Vote of City Council tinder the date of April 28, 1983 , a copy
of which is hereto annexed to be recorded herewith, for Twenty eight ($28.00)
Dollars and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, grants to STASIA J. THERIAULT, a
single person, of 10 Butler Street, Salem, Essex County, Massachu-
setts , with QUITCLAIM COVENANTS, the land in said Salem, with the
building thereon, bounded and _described as .follows:
SOUTHERLY: by Butler Street, eighteen and one-half
(18.5) feet; .
EASTERLY: by sa-1-d Butler Street, one and one-half (llz)
feet;
NORT71ERLY: by land of the grantee, numbered 10 Butler
Street, eighteen and one-half (18.5) feet; and
WESTERLY: by said Butler Street, one and one-half (11h)
feet.
j Containing approximately twenty-seven and 3/4 (23 3/4) square
feet.
In the event that at some future date the porch which is located
upon the premises conveyed herein is removed, except for the purposes
of repair or replacement within ninety (90) days of fts removal,
then the estate conveyed herein shall revert to the City of Salem
automatically and without the necessity of any action being taken
by the City of Salem.
The provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 44, Section
63A have been complied with in full.
Consideration for this Deed being less than S100.00, no documentary
stamps are hereunto affixed.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said t:i'i.y of Sal_9-a has caused its corporate
seal to be hereto affixed and these presents to be signed, acknowledged
and delivered in its name and behalf by JEAN A. LEVESQUE, its MAYOR
