SECOND REQUEST

Jason & Virginia Charette
169 Federal St.
Salem, MA 01970
Dear Property Owner:
In January, 1996 the Salem Historical Commission denied an application for a Certificate
of Appropriateness for the installation of greenhouse window that had already been installed at
your property at 169 Federal Street. As part of the denial, the Commission required that the
window in violation be removed by June 30, 1996 and the facade be returned to original
condition. As of this date, the greenhouse window has not been removed.
In order to avoid legal enforcement, the Commission respectfully requests that the
window be removed within fifteen(15) days. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
THE SALEM HISTORICAL COMMISSION
