1) The neighborhood would be improved by the additions I propose by making the porch
structure more architecturally consistent with the structure, and the rear, which is only
seen by my immediate neighbors, would have a beautiful bay that matches the side
bays rather than a flat wall. Victorian houses by nature have more detailed massing.
2) Traffic flow is not affected by these alterations and additions, but additional egress
doors are part of the additions and so substantially improve safety.
3) Part of the overall renovations of this property include three new 200 amp electrical
service installations for the three units which are complete. The new structures would
have all new utilities.
4) All the additions have an attention to detailing to maintain the historic character of the
existing structure as well as maintaining the neighborhood character.
5) The design of these new additions improve access to the yard and nature and also
include expanded plantings that improve carbon capture and improve the neighborhood
view and enjoyment of the property.
6) The improvements to the property by these additions adds to the property value and
tax base. There is no additional city services burden.
