It is the understanding that the work to be per- formed on the repair of the storm-damaged Salem Willows pier is nearing commencement. As a matter of regulation, the Conservation Commission requests that you file for a "Determination". Just as soon as we receive this form completed, the Commission shall act upon it (our next meeting date----August 15, 1978 ) , and notify you of its expected decision. It is our understanding that the work to be performed, will fall under the Federal and State Disaster regulations, and that the work will be to repair the pier to the status it was at before the February 7,1978 storm. And that there will not be any further additions and/or altera- tions to the pier and surrounding structures. In your written description of the proposed work,please state the same .
