Furthermore Department records show that the unit referred to as"Unit 401 R",is an illegal and unpermitted dwelling unit. The petitioner Mr. David Schaejbe's request for Special Permit to convert the carriage house to a single family dwelling was denied by the Salem Board of Appeals on January 17, 1990. You are hereby ordered contact this office immediately upon receipt of this letter to discuss this matter.
