This department has received complaints that the garage on you property is being used to
perform bodywork on cars. Your property is located in an R-1 zone. No business uses
are allowed. It will be necessary to arrange an inspection with this department of the
garage upon receipt of this letter. (State Building Code 780 CMR, Section 103).
Additionally, there are two unregistered cars on the side of the property.
Keeping these vehicles more than 15 days violated Salem Ordinance 24-21 and carries a
$50.00 per day fine per vehicle. These vehicles need to be removed within 15 days.
Failure to comply with these orders will result in a complaint being filed in Salem
District Court.
