Mr.Hare,
A complaint has been received by the Salem Building Dept in regards to 2 Pleasant St Ave and or 32 Pleasant
St.The complaint stated there is gas piping connected to meters not associated with the correct units.Also, it
was stated there is a concern over gas equipment installed without permits in violation of Ma Plumbing and Gas
Code.There is a water heater in question the tenant states is down drafting it's exhaust back into the basement.
An inspection Date of 8/20/18 at 10:00 am has been set to inspect all areas of the building to assure compliance
with code and Public Health and Safety.

Right of Entry:Subject to compliance with all relevant federal and state laws,the Inspector
shall,after showing proper identification,have the right to enter any premises for the purpose
of conducting an Inspection of a plumbing or gas:fitting system at such times as may be
reasonably necessary to protect the public health.

Mr.Hare,
A complaint has been received by the Salem Building Dept in regards to your property located at 34 Pleasant St.
The complaint states that there is gas piping connected to meters not associated with the correct units. Also,a
complaint of gas equipment installed without the required permits and inspections as required by Ma 248 CMR.
The complaint also referenced a water heater exhausting into the basement.
Due to the public health and safety concerns an inspection date of. August 20,2018 at 10 am has been
scheduled.
Ma 248 CMR Section 3.05
Right of Entry: Subject to compliance with all relevant federal and state laws, the Inspector
shall, after showing proper identification,have the right to enter any premises for the purpose
of conducting an Inspection of a plumbing or gas: fitting system at such times as may be
