Ladies and Gentlemen:
I am the Architect of Record for the above-noted project. With the assistance
of my staff and consulting structural engineer, Colin G. Simson, P.E., I directly
supervised the preparation of design plans and construction documents for
The Cogswell Condominium; in addition, we observed the construction in
progress at regular periodic intervals, from July 1987 through January 1988.
This letter is to certify that we made our final inspection of Unit No. 8 of the
above-referenced project upon the substantial completion of its construction.
It is my professional opinion that Unit No. 8 was built in accordance with our
construction documents. Moreover, I find that the unit was constructed in
accordance with the current Mass. State Building Code and in compliance
with our best understanding of the requirements of the City of Salem.
