WAIVER OF THE DEMOLITION DELAY ORDINANCE
It is hereby certified that the Salem Historical Commission has waived the Demolition Delay Ordinance
for the proposed demolition as described below, as per the requirements set forth in the Historic District's
Act (M.G.L. Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance.

Description of Demolition Work Proposed:
Demolish garage building older than 50 years.
Per the Demolition Delay Ordinance, the Commission made the following findings:
1) The Commission voted unanimously to find the building historically significant as an intact
example of an early 20th century manufactured tin garage.
2) The Commission voted unanimously to find the building not preferably preserved.
3) The Applicant to provide dimensions and photographs of garage, including interior views and ¾
exterior views.
